Abstract :
Summary form only given, as follows.Results are presented of measuring reflectivities, conversion coefficients to higher-order waves, beam patterns, phase characteristics, gain factors and a number of other characteristics of stepped-curve and stepless-curve-shaped horn antennae. Measurements were taken both for the principal working wave and for wavelength variations to either side. A six-step pyramidal horn with dissimilar input-output cross-sections, showing optimum reflectivity, was taken as a sample to measure stepped-curved horn antenna characteristics. The obtained results matched well with the expected ones.
