  • Abstract
    Urban landscape is the significant part of urban environment, color materially represents urban landscape and indispensably influences public urban environment. The paper discusses problems of landscape color design in modern public urban environment design, elaborates the significance of landscape color element on public urban environment and raises the point that landscape color design is important means to improve public urban environmental condition. In public urban environment design, symbiosis between the landscape color element and the environment, correspondence between the landscape color element and national and regional culture, perfect reproduction of landscape function and spirit of the special place shall be demonstrated. In the paper, it initiates the application of landscape color element to improve urban environmental conditions and create sustainable landscape with ecologic feature for urban residents.
