Abstract :
According to the characteristics of symbols ranging in IEEE 802.16e, a initial ranging detection algorithm which is the combination of time and frequency domain was proposed in this paper. The joint detection of two symbols is adopted to solve the problem of multi-users mobile communication super long coverage caused by phase ambiguity. Simulation results showed that its coverage reached 20 km and the algorithm had good performance in the realization of multi-users mobile communication ultra-long distance covered at the same time.
