  • Abstract
The framework structure building with single foundation crossed by shield tunnel with 90 degree was simulated by 3D FEM MIDAS/GTS software. The interaction of tunnel-soil-building was considered, and the settlement and stress of building was analyzed. The result shows that: the two-way uneven settlement of building was induced during shield tunnel passing it. Building was induced long-term uneven settlement along the transverse direction. Along the shield tunneling direction (longitudinal), building was induced short-term uneven settlement. The maximum first principle stress P1 decreased when the axis distance L between shield tunnel and building increased, and it reached maximum when L=0. The maximum transverse and longitudinal horizontal displacements of framework increased firstly and then decreased with the L increasing. With the increasing of shield driving distance, P1 increased firstly and then was stable when L=0. When the tunnel was tangent to outer edge of foundation, with the increasing of shield driving distance, P1 increased firstly and reached the maximum when the shield tunnel was going to through the building, then it decreased. The uneven settlement of foundation and P1 increased significantly when the soil was worse.
