Abstract :
The acoustic characteristics of composites based on Lead Zirconate Titanate have been investigated by introducing a non-piezoelectric phase with high velocity and low acoustic impedance. These materials are processed using conventional ceramic techniques with firing temperatures ranging from llOO°C to 1300°C.
