Abstract :
Researching on the relationship between perceptual characteristics of driver and traffic safety in expressway tunnel group, a test of 160 drivers is made with the speed anticipation reaction tester and depth vision tester in the Tongling to Tangkou (Anhui) traffic tunnel group. The data are t test and variance analysis. According to the thought of gray system, gray relation analysis model of the perceptual characteristics is set up, and gray correlation analysis with modeling software V2.1. The results show that the driver´s age, driving experience and continuous driving time have strong correlations with speed anticipation of drivers, in which the continuous driving time is the greatest one. Driver´s age has no significant effect on the accuracy of depth vision, while driving experience and continuous driving time have strong correlations with of driver´s depth vision. The study can provide a theoretical basis for the expressway tunnel designing, construction, safety management and accident prevention.
