Abstract :
Long-term evolution (LTE) adopt Virtual MIMO (VMIMO) technology to resolve some great problem when we install multiple antennas at user equipments (UEs). The kernel idea of VMIMO is combining UEs with one antenna as MIMO system to carrying out transmission simultaneously. Therefore, an important problem in VMIMO application is which users can be scheduled simultaneously to achieve a good balance between system capacity and user fairness. In this paper, we propose a novel proportional fair scheduling considering QoS (PF-QoS) scheme. Simulation result show that PF-QoS method outperforms some traditional pairing methods both throughput and fairness. Moreover, compared with PF method, PF-QoS can provide better service by made QoS factor into consideration.
