Abstract
An isothermal method is presented to reduce the thermal time constant of microcalorimeter. The method is a comparatively more efficient process of determining the effective efficiency of thermistor mount than classical measurement method. Using this technique with APC-7 coaxial microcalorimeter has substantially reduced the measurement time by a factor of six.
