Abstract :
The aircraft landing scheduling (ALS) problem is a typical NP-hard optimization problem. Based on an improved artificial fish swarm algorithm (IAFSA), the problem of scheduling arrival aircrafts at an airport with multi-runway is studied. A mutation operator is introduced to the artificial fish swarm algorithm. The sequence problem of landing aircraft is solved, and the simulation result shows that the IAFSA of ALS is better than FCFS which can decrease the total delay time by 24.1%. This method can obtain a satisfactory solution which can provide real-time support for automatic air traffic management.
