Abstract :
Traffic management system broadly used license plate recognition for them whose owner has dumped traffic laws or to find the stolen vehicles. Here License Plate Identification Using Artificial Neural Network and Wavelet Transformed Feature Selection is proposed, which is based on wavelet transform function and comparing the proposed methodology with correlation based method for the detection of number plate. Experimental result shows that the proposed technology has the better performance in comparison with the correlation based methodology. The matching process for number plate recognition is modified with the help of multi-class RBF neural network optimization.
