Abstract :
The antiskid performance of pavement is one of the most important factors which influence traffic safety. The main reason of the frequent occurrence of traffic accidents is the insufficiency of pavement skid resistance, so the study of antiskid performance and micro-texture of highway pavement has significant meanings. Firstly, the paper systemically reviews the updated research progress of characteristic technique of pavement micro-texture and testing technology of pavement skid resistance internationally and nationally. Secondly, the relationship between antiskid performance and micro-texture is stated. On this basis, some key problems needed to be solved in the study of characteristic technique of pavement micro-texture and testing technology of pavement skid resistance are pointed out. Finally, the future development and research directions of pavement skid resistance are discussed.
