Abstract :
Summary form only given. The Industry University Government Roundtable for Enhancing Engineering Education (IUGREEE) evolved from Boeing Company university workshops beginning in 1994 into a national group of company, university and government representatives. IUCREEE sponsors national workshops and leads initiatives related to improving engineering education. The affiliated companies, engineering colleges, and government units involved are held together by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by appropriate unit leaders. The MOU serves as an agreement in principle to cooperate in addressing major issues identified by studies sponsored by the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), National Research Council (NRC), and others. A unique aspect of the IUGREEE is that it is industry led.
