  • Abstract
Hiring is a tough, expensive, and time consuming business activity. Determining what talents business needs, finding the time and know how to recruit these people and then hoping that these talents adapt quickly and well to the existing teams is not a trivial endeavor. Many years of research in sociology and psychology has shown that part of the solution to choosing a great team lies in evaluation of the individuals credentials hence trust. In this paper we introduce a new approach to enable trust through certification, evaluation and time within the social semantic web realm. To help prove this hypothesis, we introduce a set of tools that enable job matching and performance evaluation using social semantic technology. The individuals that comprise the network will be able to evaluate and certify information over time. We extend current work in trust networks and create an RDF reasoner that, by combining a job-related trust network, will help provide us with the optimal people/team selection for a particular job.
