Abstract :
Among the measurement methods of the water mist field, DPIV is commonly used. But considering the scattering effect of water-drops, the camera must keep a tilt angle with the laser, so the image of the water mist should be corrected. With the ERDAS polynomial geometric correction function, correcting the 1cm×1cm grid to obtain the polynomial, then use the polynomial to correct the water mist image. According to the revised water mist image, rebuild the velocity field, and obtain the actual mean velocity and the actual mean partical size of the water mist.
