Abstract :
The vacuum state estimation of vacuum circuit breakers after long periods of operational life is gaining more attention both from users and manufacturers. A review of relevant literature on this subject learned that many methods have been proposed and investigated with quite unsatisfactory performance. In this paper, a three-phase (200 A) test device with a 10 kV recovery voltage fed from a low voltage supply is described including the results of field tests
