Abstract :
CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 porous glass-ceramic was synthesized with different Al2O3/SiO2 ratios. DTA, XRD, SEM, 3-point bending and acid resistance as well as alkali resistance were tested in the paper to focus the effect of Al2O3/SiO2 ratio on the properties of porous pegmatite glass-ceramics. The results show that parawollastonite as the main crystal phase is kept stable with the increasing of Al2O3/SiO2 ratio, while the amounts of parawollastonite decrease. The compressive strength and flexural strength of the samples were dropped with the increasing of the ratio. The maximum flexural strength loss of the samples after acid resistance and alkali resistance tests achieved 0.2945 and 0.301, respectively.
