Abstract :
The concept of virtual water, the meanings of virtual water strategy & virtual water trade and the calculation method of crops virtual water are mostly introduced. Relative analysis has been finished taking Chaohe river basin in Chengteh municipality Hebei province as an example. The urgency of full scale operation virtual water strategy and virtual water trade has been demonstrated in Chaohe river basin.
