Abstract :
Due to various constraints on time and geographical distances, costly equipment and resources are available only to a limited number of users and hence are not utilized to their full potential. Virtual Labs is an imperative step in bringing these equipment and resources to full use by remote experimentation. ECG signals are one of the most important medical signals for diagnostic information, a large amount of processing, clarification and interpretation can be done from an ECG signal, so it is paramount that the ECG signal is acquired correctly. In this paper we have a virtual lab experiment to observe real-time changes in ECG signal caused due to various electrode positions, here we explain how users can not only acquire ECG signal under normal placement of electrodes but they can also remotely change the placement of electrodes of an actual hardware present in actual lab and observe the real-time results through computer interface over the web, hence entailing carrying out the actual experiment remotely.
