Abstract
In this paper, we present a performance study for power management schemes in WPANs. Power management is an important issue for short-range communication in WPANs. We conduct the performance evaluation with the total wakeup times and the probability achieving the lower bound. Simulation results show that the performance of MDS outperforms that of standard.
