Abstract :
The nearest symmetric trapezoidal approximation is presented for simplifying calculations of fuzzy numbers, which possesses the following properties: the centroid point invariance, ambuguity invariance, width invariance, translation invariance, scale invariance. Numerical results also show that the presented method is valid.
