Abstract :
Influence of the current of the auxiliary discharge and the voltage of the control pulse upon the discharge creation time in a gap “cathode-anode” of thyratrons of TGI 2-500/20 type is investigated. A minimum switching time of the anode voltage τs =5 ns at the current value Im<2 kA and the anode voltage Ua=18 kV was obtained
