Abstract :
This paper introduces a new topology for implementing a solid state transformer. The advantages of the proposed topology include a reduced number of SiC MOSFETs, lower cost and smaller switching losses. Simulation results are given to demonstrate the performance of the proposed topology. Experimental results are included to show the capability of the power electronic transformer.
