Abstract :
Numerical methods are proposed for solving problems of reflection of a plane electromagnetic wave from an irregular media interface. Strictly transparent periodic cylindrical surfaces are considered, as well as surfaces that are no-planar on a finite impedance section. The method of integral equations is used to construct numerical algorithms. Integral characteristics of the electromagnetic field and the current distribution at the interface are investigated. Single- and multimode scattered fields are considered. Numerical results are reported for various electrodynamic models, and their limits of applicability are investigated.
