Abstract :
Wideband radar application for the remote sensing of the atmosphere is considered. Features of distributed targets as objects of wideband radar observations are shown. The difficulties of the retrieval meteorological information from the returns are discussed. Prospect of UWB radar for remote sensing is reviewed.
