Abstract
Ten years has passed since the Large-scale Retail Store Law in Japan was enforced and store modifications have been planned among many large-scale shopping centers. In such modification plan, parking lot improvement is also carried out at the same time in many cases. By this research, not only knowledge and experimental rules, about the improvement effect of user service of the parking lot layout which the commercial entrepreneur is planning was able to show as a detailed number. Specifically, we apply a traffic simulation which specialized in the parking lot, and compute convenience as a service index, and made the improvement effect visualize numerically. We hope that standardization of the service level in a parking lot is attained by taking in such a technique.
