Welcome message from the general chairs

It is a great pleasure and an honor to greet you to the annual international conference, 2012 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (IEEE SMC 2012) at Seoul, the heart of Korea. The purpose of the conference is to provide an international forum for researchers and practitioners to report the latest innovations and the state-of-the-art, and to share ideas in all aspects of systems science and engineering, human-machine systems, and emerging cybernetics. We hope that this conference provides a very rewarding and valuable technical meeting. We also hope that you enjoy Seoul where the modernity and tradition coexist. Seoul has developed into a bustling metropolis on an ancient and shining history, acting as the hub for political, economic, social, and cultural matters.
