Abstract :
To study the influential degree of energy consumption influential factors impacting on energy consumption is the foundation of reducing energy consumption and saving energy. Energy consumption intensity influential factors decomposition is a class method of measuring the influential degree of energy consumption intensity influential factors impacting on energy consumption intensity. So the research and application of these methods are extremely important and practical significance. This paper presents a new approach on energy consumption intensity influential factors decomposition. This method, which takes advantage of LMDI and input-output theory, makes the alternative item decomposed completely and fully considers the character of the consumption and the structural change of product between sectors. The method is used for energy consumption intensity influential factors decomposition in China. The result shows that the method is very effective.
