Abstract :
This paper presents a sequential procedure to design a suboptimal triangular controller for 2times2 (TITO) discrete time stable plant models. The procedure is based on a convenient rewriting of a standard quadratic performance index that reveals that the first column of the Youla parameter associated to triangular controllers can be (almost) independently chosen
