Abstract :
In mechanical product collaborative design to solve the problem of conflict detection, classification and resolution, in which a method of detecting conflict based on constraint satisfaction techniques were studied, Constraint network was established and interval propagation algorithms was proposed to solve constraint satisfaction problems. The storage and representation of design constraints and interval propagation process were discussed in detail in the collaborative design process. Based on theoretical study, a Constraint — Based Conflict Detection prototype combined with examples of excavator product design was developed.
