Abstract :
Microwave radiation of different polarization state of wavelength 7.1 mm (f=42.25 GHz) and surface power density at the level of an object - 0.2 mW/cm2, exposure time 10 min. induces condensation of chromatin in human buccal cell nuclei. The effect of chromatin condensation was also observed after the influence of irradiation produced by cell phone. Microwave radiation induced the decrease of reproductive ability of drosophila. Left polarized microwave radiation induced more pronounced effects on chromatin condensation in human cells and reproductive ability of drosophila than right polarized microwave radiation.
