Abstract :
Starting from a model of ultrasound backscatter from myocardium, the authors derived and studied useful parameters for the assessment of architectural and structural properties in order to develop parametric images. Preliminary tests in clinical environments show that the proposed method appears able to give useful quantitative informations on the physical and biological properties of myocardial wall
