Abstract :
In this paper, a new steady-state analysis for a high-frequency transformer (HFT) isolated power factor corrected (PFC) single-stage converter operating in continuous conduction mode (CCM) is presented. A control strategy that achieve magnetic flux-reset of HFT and mitigation of circulating reactive energy conditions with a power factor almost unitary is provided. Design considerations and the validation of theoretical analysis by numerical simulation and experimental results are discussed and provided.
