Abstract :
The surrounding rock stress field monitoring of sequential mining method has done and the field monitoring data has been compared with numerical simulation results. The result shows: Surround rock stress changes violently when the distance from monitoring section to the lower bench is less than a tunnel diameter, when the distance is more than a tunnel diameter, the surround rock presents rheological properties and stress changes smoothly and continuously. The construction of invert and side wall can effect the change trend of surround rock stress. Secondary lining receives the contact pressure created by rheological rock. The rheological stress release rate is less than 7% in rock arch and more than 55% in spandrel and hance.
