Abstract :
This paper considers the global controllability of switched affine nonlinear systems. A sufficient condition is obtained, which is a generalization of {B,AB,middot middot middot ,An - 1B}-type condition for linear systems. The approach considers the switched linear systems and non-switched linear or nonlinear systems as their particular cases. So it also provides a completely new result for the controllability of nonlinear systems. The condition becomes necessary and sufficient condition for linear (switched or not) systems and some particular cases of systems with codim(G) = 1. The novelty and efficiency of this approach are demonstrated by several examples
