Abstract :
This paper proposes a new collaborative design method, which is developed from the study of dependencies between the parameters of each part of apparatus, and can be devoted to solve the problems of collaborative product design of multiple domains between several communities based on computer networks, and be applied to the design process such as electrical application and mechanical product etc. This paper covers the emerging issues and the persistent requirement of collaborative product design in electrical industry, and then elaborates the foundation ideas and formal definition systems of dependency, and the corresponding architecture.
