Abstract :
A simplified design of rectifying circuit operating at Ka band with low input power is designed in this paper. According to the simulation results, the proposed circuit has a maximum MMW-DC (millimeter wave to direct current) conversion efficiency of 50% on 960Ω load at 35GHz when the input power is 12.5dBm. The maximum output DC voltage is about 2.92V. The MMW-DC efficiencies are above 45% within 2.5GH bandwidth from 33GHz to 35.5GHz. It is easy to be integrated with the receiving antenna and applied in the millimeter wave wireless power transmission system.
