Abstract :
Two expert systems were developed for the complex analysis of electrocardiograms using object-oriented programming techniques. This solution made it possible to more accurately reflect the cardiologists´ decision-making methods. The two systems are complementary to each other: LEVEL5 Object is much more user-friendly and better in the validation process, while the LECGO computer system, which serves for data acquisition, is more effective and faster in computer processing. A database of 1400 ECG recordings with their clinical data is used for the further development of the automated ECG program, and for teaching
