Abstract :
A cooperative coevolutioanry PSO is proposed in this paper, named CCPSO. In CCPSO, the simple mutation operator is incorporated and the number of subswarm is defined according to the relationship of decision variables. Collaborators are selected from each subswarm and used to construct individuals so as to evaluate the subswarm. Simulation experiments of CCPSO based on uniform distribution mutation and Gaussian distribution mutation on several benchmark functions are presented. It is shown that CCPSO can be used to optimize unimodal and multimodal benchmark functions and it´s convergence rate and precision is competitive.
