Abstract :
The synthesis algorithms for the geometric parameters of coupling slots and cavities, for irregular slow-wave structures (SWS), are indicated. For TWTs with efficiencies of more than 60%, calculated parameter results of equivalent circuit modeling of irregular slow-wave structures are represented. The described synthesis algorithms of the geometric parameters of coupling slots and cavities coincide well with the dispersion curve of a coupled resonator and corresponding equivalent circuit. Solving the corresponding nonlinear equations allows the geometric parameters to be determined.
