Abstract :
Monolithic millimeter wave Butler matrix and Rotman lens array topologies built using surface micromachining are presented. By using wideband couplers and transmission lines, instantaneous bandwidths of 50 GHz and 100 GHz are achieved. Measurements, including radiation patterns in W band confirm both, their good performance, and overall operating bandwidth.
