Abstract :
Dr. Robert E. Larson has been associated with IEEE since 1956, when he joined the MIT Student Branch, and he continues to be active as a Life Fellow today. He will discuss how the IEEE has influenced his career from his student days, his industrial experience, his teaching career, his experience as founder of a Silicon Valley start-up, his venture capital career, and his current activities with the U.S.-China Green Energy Council, an NGO dedicated to fostering cooperative efforts between the U.S. and China in addressing energy and environmental issues.
