Abstract
Three-dimensional display of extracellular epicardial and endocardial potentials is necessary to identify the site of origin of ventricular arrhythmias. As imaging procedure to visualize three-dimensional potential fields the authors propose the skinning method to reconstruct a Nurbs surface which models the explored surface, and the graphical technique of texture mapping which controls the appearing of the graphical primitive NURBSS. An appropriate software for a realistic visualization, realized in an interactive environment, allows the application of advanced graphical tools to a nonspecialist user
