Abstract :
This paper considers multi-carrier (MC) CDMA communication systems. A broadband ad-hoc network is considered where single users employ multiple codes. The receiver structure is linear and minimizes the mean square error of the data estimate. Using asymptotic analysis, the average output signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) is derived as a function of the channel loading, the noise power, and the fading properties of the channel. An expression for the BER for BPSK/QPSK symbols is given and supported by simulation results. A less complex approximate method for computing the SINR is also derived. Simulations show that these asymptotic SINR are applicable to realistic finite systems.
