Abstract :
Life and performance of a High Power Klystron is directly related to the quality of the cathode. The quality of the cathode can be determined using Cathode emission Activity Plots known as "Miram Plots" and Practical Work Function Distribution (PWFD) plots which are derived from these measurements.
