Abstract :
An important task of the asset management process is the evaluation of the long-range investment and resource planning of the assets of the complete power system. The main problem of the asset manager is to reduce the maintenance costs under the condition to keep the availability of the system on a high level. This multi-criteria task is exemplary solved on the basis of three different assets groups (power transformers, circuit-breakers and disconnectors) and in total 75 pieces of equipment of a 110 kV system.
