Abstract :
The capabilities of unobtrusive renewable energy systems in wearable medical sensors and those integrated into a piece of clothing are discussed. Their performance characteristics are evaluated and experimentally confirmed. Several different wireless sensors have been fabricated and tested on people. The experimental results are reported. The market-oriented research on low-cost modern technologies for renewable energy systems and the related challenges are discussed.
