Abstract :
Polarization-insensitive band-stop and band-pass filters are investigated for transmitarray (TA) antennas. Their performances in terms of phase variation and transmission loss for different TE-incident angles are presented and discussed. As a proof of concept, a TA with an aperture area of 7λ×7λ is designed for the operating frequency 12 GHz. The results demonstrate at least 19 dB gain for this TA when it is illuminated by a horn placed at a focal distance of F=60 mm (i. e., F/D=0.3).
