Abstract :
This paper proposes a performance evaluation method, a benchmark program for Realtime Operating Systems and a normalization method for comparing the performance evaluation data between different processors. The benchmark program method is a traditional evaluation method for a processor and its compiler. However, there is no application for Realtime Operating System under Super multiple resource conditions. The authors propose a new algorithm for measuring all system call processing time of realtime operating systems under super multiple resource conditions. They also propose a new normalization method for comparing the OS performance between different processors. In this paper, the requirements of benchmark program and normalization program, the algorithm of benchmark program, examples of measuring data by new benchmark program and examples of normalization are described
