Abstract :
This paper presents the control of dc-bus voltage in photovoltaic power system which includes PV array, a maximum power point tracker, a bi-directional inverter, and dc loads. The bi-directional inverter is designed to track the reference ac current signal and control the power flow in GC mode and in rectification mode, respectively. Based on the linear power management scheme, control strategy is developed to regulate the dc-bus voltage for load variation. Simulation results have validated the effectiveness of this design.
