Abstract :
In this paper, we revisit the problem of stability of an N-terminal slotted ALOHA system. We identify the relative liability for instability of the queues by identifying the notion of the “rank”. Based on this notion, we improve the lower bound for stability. A necessary condition is also separately obtained
